Dental units of A5 and A6 PLUS model:
Open the water side unit cover (see paragraph 7.7.).
Turn the tank (a).
Remove plug (k) and pour disinfectant fluid inside tank until it is full.
Tank capacity: approx. 800 cc.
The plug shape allows it to be used as a funnel to make filling
easier.
Refit plug and tank.
Lastly, close the water unit side cover.
Dental units of L6 model:
Remove cover (b).
Press the edge (b1) of the cover to lift it.
Remove plug (c) and pour disinfectant fluid through the relevant hole
(d) until the tank is full.
A sound indicates when the maximum level is reached.
Tank capacity: approx. 750 cc
Carefully pour the disinfectant fluid through the hole (d) to
prevent overflow.
Any splash of disinfectant on painted surfaces must be
removed immediately by rinsing with plenty of water.
W.H.E. system tank emptying
This function allows emptying the W.H.E. system water circuit.
This operation is recommended if the dental unit has been
switched off for more than 7 days.
Proceed as follows:
Insert the special supplied container (e) under the cup spout.
Press and hold button (B1) for at least 5 seconds to start the emptying
cycle, the DISPLAY will show the system’s code illuminated.
Cycle will not start if:
S.H.S. system is active;
there is an error in the W.H.E. system
Wait for the water circuit to be emptied, a sound (3 BEEPS) will be
emitted at the end of the operation.
Now the dental unit is in lockout mode and it can be turned off.
At restart, the W.H.E. system will be automatically restored.
Warning messages on Display.
Console with Digit DISPLAY:
If the system detects a fault operation, it emits an intermittent sound (2 BEEPS) and locks out, preventing water from being delivered to the dental unit.
In these cases, it is recommended to first check the correct supply of water and air to the dental unit.
Then turn the dental unit off and on again, if the lockout condition persists, call the Technical Service department.
Console with LCD Touch DISPLAY:
If system detects a malfunction, an error message will be displayed (see paragraph 10).
If the detected error is negligible, the dental unit continues working, while in case of severe errors, the dental unit will be blocked and Technical Service
is required.
PEROXY Ag+ storage.
For proper PEROXY Ag+ storage, follow the manufacturer’s instructions given on the package.
It is important to keep the package tightly closed and stored in a cool place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Never leave PEROXY Ag+ or oxygenated water in the tank (a) for more than one month.
If you are going to be absent from the surgery for long periods of time (holidays), completely empty the tank (a) before leaving.
To empty tank, use a suction tube.
