10.6.14 Flight Control Interference Check
CAUTION: Verify control surfaces are free and clear.
With the EFD mounted in the instrument panel push the control column (yoke or stick) all
the way forward (nose down) and verify there is sufficient clearance between all EFD, and
their knobs, and the control column. With the control column fully forward move it from
lock to lock (full right to full left) and verify there is sufficient clearance between the EFD,
and the knobs, and the control column.
10.6.15 OBS Mode Check
1) Establish a flight plan on the GPS device with a destination within 200 miles.
2) Enable the OBS mode on the GPS devices.
3) Select GPS 1 on the EFD and select CRS on the EFD
4) Turn the CRS knob.
5) The GPS 1 OBS should respond to the CRS value.
