4.7.1.2 OBD-Assisted Relearn
The MaxiTPMS tablet can also perform an OBD-Assisted Relearn session directly. Some
vehicles relearn procedure require that a tool be always connected to the vehicle while
another tool be used to trigger the sensor at the wheel.
Since the tablet wirelessly communicates with vehicles, it can be used to trigger wheel-
mounted sensors while still being connected with the vehicle eliminating the need for a
second tool. The sensor IDs are then relearned to the vehicle.
4.7.2 Automatic Relearn
For some vehicles, the Relearn function can be completed by driving. Refer to the on-
screen Relearn Procedure for the exact details of the process.
