Field Description
• 2 : WEP 40 bits
• 2 : WEP 104 bits
• 23 4: WPA Preshared Key
• 23 +: 802.11i/TKIP
Transmit Key Only for Security Mode = 2  or 2 
Select one of the keys configured in WEP Key <1 - 4> as a de-
fault key.
The default value is 4( .
WEP Key 1-4 Only for Security Mode = 2 , 2 
Enter the WEP key.
Enter a character string with the right number of characters for
the selected WEP mode. For 2  you need a character
string with 5 characters, for 2  with 13 characters, e. g.
11 for 2 , 7+ for 2 .
WPA Mode Only for Security Mode = 23 4 and 23 +
Select whether you want to use WPA (with TKIP encryption) or
WPA 2 (with AES encryption), or both.
Possible values:
• 23  23  (default value): WPA and WPA 2 can be
applied.
• 23: Only WPA is applied.
• 23 : Only WPA 2 is applied.
WPA Cipher Only for Security Mode = 23 4 and 23
+ and for WPA Mode = 23 and 23  23 
Select the type of encryption with which to apply WPA.
Possible values:
• 3 (default value): AES is used.
• 3  *4 : AES or TKIP is used.
