Field Description
Security Mode Select the security mode (encryption and authentication) for the
wireless network.
Possible values:
• % (default value): Neither encryption nor authentica-
tion
• 2 : WEP 40 bits
• 2 : WEP 104 bits
• 23 ): Only for Client Mode = 3 @%. WPA None
• Only for: 23 4 Client Mode = $% WPA
Preshared Key
Transmit Key Only for Security Mode = 2
Select one of the keys configured in WEP Key <1 - 4> as a de-
fault key.
The default value is 4( .
WEP Key 1 - 4 Only for Security Mode = 2 , 2
Enter the WEP key.
Enter a character string with the right number of characters for
the selected WEP mode. For 2 you need a character
string with 5 characters, for 2 with 13 characters, e.g.
11 for 2 , 7+ for 2 .
WPA Mode Only for Security Mode = 23 4
Select whether you want to use WPA or WPA 2.
Possible values:
• 23 (default value): Only WPA is used.
• 23 : Only WPA2 is used.
Preshared Key Only for Security Mode = 23 4
Enter the WPA password.
Enter an ASCII string with 8 - 63 characters.
