Troubleshooting Guide
Below are some frequently asked questions and answers. Please check if any apply to your
instrument before contacting B&K Precision.
Q: I cannot power up the instrument
- Check that the power cord is securely connected to the AC input and there is live power
from your electrical AC outlet.
- Check and confirm that the correct fuse is inserted and not blown.
- Verify that the AC power coming from the mains is the correct voltage. The LCR meters can
accept a specific range of AC input voltages. Refer to section “2.1 Input Power
Requirements ”.
Q: The front panel keys are not responding to key presses
- When the unit goes into Remote Mode, the “Keylock” button will turn on (red) indicating
that the front panel is locked. To unlock press the “Keylock” button once, you will hear a
loud beep and the unit will unlock.
