Power supply of Nyon rechargeable battery
X The eBike battery automatically supplies power if
the eBike system is activated and Nyon is inserted in
the mount.
X Alternative: charge Nyon via USB connection. To do
this:
1. Open the protective cap.
2. Use an appropriate USB cable to connect to a
commercially available USB charger or to a USB
port of a computer.
3. The Nyon text display shows: "USB connected".
The power consumption of Nyon is in the low sin-
gle-figure percentage range and is negligible.

Power supply of external devices (e.g.
smartphone) via the USB port
Prerequisite: Nyon and a sufficiently charged recharge-
able battery are installed in the eBike and the eBike
system is activated.
External devices connected to Nyon can nega-
tively affect the range of the eBike.
1. Open the protective cap.
2. Use a USB Micro A - Micro B charging cable to con-
nect an external device to Nyon (Order number:
1.270.016.360)
3. After completion of charging, close the protective
cap again.
– The USB cable for diagnostics and the cable for
charging of external devices are not identical!
– Using a USB cable that is not standard-compli-
ant or a cable/adapter combination can lead to
damage to Nyon.
– When riding in the rain, do not connect any
external devices!
