4.14 Operation of CapacityTester
To start the CapacityTester
1. Connect plug-in power adaptor to the Capacity-
Tester and plug in mains power socket.
2. Connect the CapacityTester with the DiagnosticTool
via a USB port.
3. The software detects the CapacityTester and the
DiagnosticTool screen display changes.
4. Connection status displays "Connected".
5. The serial number, hardware and software version
of the CapacityTester are displayed in the black
header.
X Only connect one battery to the Capacity-
Tester. This must not be inserted in the eBike.
X Only connect a PowerPack of the Classic+
Line by means of the supplied blue adapter.
This should not be confused with the
charging adapter!

1. The energy capacity of batteries can be
slightly less or greater than the nominal val-
ues. The reason for this is the tolerances
associated with the various cells, production
and manufacturing processes.
2. Starting with their production, batteries are
subject to a natural "aging process":
From the point in time of production, the
energy capacity decreases by up to 0.5%
each month.
This still applies even if no charging or
discharging cycles have taken place during
this period.
