Installation of the charging
socket
1. Hold the charging socket base (A)
onto the frame's inner side at the
cut-out
and, from the outside,
insert the rubber cap (B)
into the
c
ut-out
. Push in the rubber cap
until it engages.
2. Push the charging socket base
with its cap into position.
3. Lift up the rubber cap (B) and
use two M3 x 14
(T10) counter-
sunk screws to screw the charging
socket base into the frame.
4. From the outside, firmly press the
charging socket (C) into the
charging socket base (D) until it
audibly engages.
Alternative procedure:
1. Guide the rubber cap (E) into the
cut-out provided for this in the
charging socket base.
2. Move the rubber cap (E) into the
correct position.
3. Guide the charging socket base
(D) through the frame opening
(oriented toward the drill holes).
4. Slightly lift up the rubber cap (E)
and use the M3 x 14
(T10) coun-
tersunk screws to screw the
charging socket base into the
frame.
5. From the outside, firmly press the
charging socket (C) into the
charging socket base (D) until it
audibly engages.

Depending on the diverse constructions imple-
mented by the bike manufacturers, it may be that
installation and removal of the PowerTube must
proceed in another way. See documentation of
respective bike manufacturer.
