3.5 Inserting and Removing the PowerPack
Removing the PowerPack
1. Switch off the PowerPack.
2. Insert the key and unlock the lock, if not already
done.
3. Frame battery: PowerPack must be tilted in the
upper mount and then pulled from the lower mount.
Rack battery: Pull the PowerPack from the mount.
4. Remove the key.
Battery locks are not Bosch spare parts and
must be purchased from ABUS, AXA-BASTA or
TRELOCK or their respective dealer partners.

Inserting the PowerPack
1. Switch off the PowerPack if not already done.
2. Open the lock, if not already done.
3. Frame battery with contacts inserted into lower
mount. Battery can be tilted by up to 7° to frame.
Then tilt the PowerPack up to the stop in the upper
mount.
Rack battery pushed with battery contacts toward
rack contacts until they click into the mount.
4. Make sure it is securely mounted. PowerPack must
latch firmly in place, otherwise it may fall out of the
mount during the ride. Depending on the lock
maker, the lock cylinder will either snap auto
mati-
cally in or will need to be locked with the key.
