2-Unit Diagnosis / Calibration
General
WARNING
WHILE TESTING THE UNIT AND TROUBLE SHOOTING THE OPERA-
TOR/SERVICE TECHNICIAN MUST WORK WITH VOLTAGES UP TO
115 / 230 V AC. THESE VOLTAGES MAY CAUSE INJURIES WHICH
ARE DANGEROUS TO LIFE AND LIMB. THE NATIONAL AND INTER-
NATIONAL SAFETY REGULATIONS ARE TO BE ADHERED TO.
Before each disassembly of a unit subsystem check the connec-
tors, plug contacts and connections for corrosion and tight fit.
These fault types are not described again in the following trouble
shooting list.
The following equipment is necessary for testing the SpaceStation
without SpaceCom and/or performing trouble shooting:
-PC
- Service connector SP
- Service Program HiBaSeD
- Interface cable RS232 SP
- Space system pump
- SpaceCover comfort (for unit diagnosis of the SpaceStation)
The following additional equipment is necessary for testing the
SpaceStation with SpaceCom and/or performing trouble shoot-
ing:
- Interface cable CAN SP
- Interface cable RS232 SPCO (crossed)
- Interface cable RJ45 cross-over
CAUTION
Take special care when carrying out measurements on an open
and switched-on unit. Short circuits and wrong measuring meth-
ods can cause serious damage to or destroy the subsystems of the
device.
