Laser beam position and laser power can be checked.

1) Press the Continue button after selecting
screen (a) “BD CHECK”. (a)

2) The scanner motor scans the laser beam as
it is rotating. If the scanning position of the
laser beam is normal, “GOOD” is displayed
on the LCD, otherwise “FAIL”. (b) or (c)
Scanner motor automatically stops rotating
after 60 seconds. (d)
3) Press the Font button to exit the BD CHECK

1) Press the Continue button after selecting
screen (a) “FU CHECK”. (a)
2) The fusing unit starts the heat-up process,
and checks the availability of fuser oil. If oil is
available in the fusing unit, “GOOD” is
displayed in the LCD, otherwise, “FAIL”.

3) Press the Font button to exit the FU CHECK
