■ Error code 9B
The number of rotations of the developer roller reached the upper limit when continue mode
is set for the toner cartridge.
■ Error code 9C
The number of rotations of the developer roller will reach the upper limit when continue mode
is set for the toner cartridge.
Toner Ended
Open the Front Cover, replace Toner Cartridge.
<User Check>
• Replace the toner cartridge.
Step Cause Remedy
1 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.
(For the models without FAX function)
Replace Toner
Open the Front Cover, replace Toner Cartridge.
(For the models with FAX function)
Replace Toner
Received faxes are also stored in memory until the toner cartridge
is replaced or the memory is full.

• Replace a new toner cartridge.
Step Cause Remedy

New toner actuator catching on
some position
Correct the position of the new toner
actuator.

Harness connection failure of new
toner sensor PCB
Check the harness connection of the new
toner sensor PCB and reconnect it.
3 New toner sensor PCB failure Replace the new toner sensor PCB ASSY.
4 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.
