Feeding Paper from the Roll Feed Unit
The Paper Feed Slot used to feed roll paper is the same as the Paper Feed Slot used by the T ray , so both
methods of feeding paper cannot be used at the same time.
Thus, if a roll has been advanced when you wish to print from the T op Paper Feed Slot or Front Paper Feed
Slot , change the paper source.
1. Select the tray as the paper source. ( → P .1 1 1)
2. After Remove RllMedia? is displayed, press the OK button.
The roll is rewound automatically .
Similarly , if a sheet is in the T op Paper Feed Slot or Front Paper Feed Slot when you wish to print on a
roll, you will need to remove the sheet from the slot and reinsert the roll paper (which has been rewound)
in the Paper Feed Slot .
1. Select the roll as the paper source. ( → P .1 1 1)
2. After Remove CutSheet? is displayed, press the OK button.
The sheet is ejected automatically .
