Settings for Using the Media Take-up
Unit
1 Press the Online button to display MAIN
MENU on the printer.
2 Press [] or [] to select Take-up Reel,
and then press [
].
3 Press [] or [] to select Enable, and then
press the OK button.
(=) will be displayed to the left of the set value, and
the media take-up unit will be set.
Attaching Roll Media
1 Set the spool mode switch on the media
take-up unit to Manual.

If using the output stacker, remove the two
basket rods at the front, and roll up the stacker
cloth while placing it at the back of the stopper
at the bottom the stand, and then pull the
stacker arm towards you and fold it up.
Make sure that the stacker rods and cloth do not
crush the sensor.
