Configure the settings for uniFLOW
Introduction
To use the uniFLOW application, the system administrator must configure this function in the
Settings Editor on the PRISMAsync controller.
When you enable the uniFLOW application it is required to make additional settings. See the
mandatory and recommended settings described below.
The normal uniFLOW user has restricted access to the functionality and settings of the printer.
The system administrator has full access to the functionality and settings of the printer.
NOTE
The functionality of the following licenses is not available in uniFLOW:
[XPS]
[PRISMAsync Remote Manager] / [PRISMAsync Remote Manager Classic]
[PPML]
[Streaming]
[IPDS transaction printing]
[PCL transaction printing]
[DPLink]
[KDK Link]
[Multiple queues]
[DocBox]
How to configure the settings for uniFLOW
The table below describes the settings that the system administrator must configure in the
Settings Editor. After you made the settings restart the printer.
Setting Description
[uniFLOW support]
[Configuration][Connectivity]
Set to [Enabled] to use the uniFLOW
application.
[Hostname / IP address of uniFLOW server]
[Configuration][Connectivity]
Enter the hostname or the IP address
of the uniFLOW server.
[Traffic via HTTPS]
[Configuration][Connectivity]
The communication with the uni-
FLOW server can run via HTTP or
HTTPS. Default [Disabled].
[Self-signed uniFLOW server certificate]
[Configuration][Connectivity]
The uniFLOW server can be authenti-
cated with a self-signed identity cer-
tificate. Default [Do not accept].
