In this case, you input the expressions on a Draw Shade dialog box instead of the Graph
Editor Window.

• This displays the Draw Shade dialog box.
Pattern Select the shading pattern.
Lower Func Input the lower function

(2) Input the following: Lower Func: –1, Upper Func: 1,
