Connecting fiber optic cables to STM-1/16 or OC-3/48 interfaces on 15G MRO XC card

Step Action
1 Identify the fiber optic cables.
2 Remove the dust caps on the optical interfaces.
3 Inspect and clean the connectors/adaptors on the patch cord. For details,
refer to Procedure 9-2, Cleaning optical connectors and adapters on patch
cords.
4 Connect the appropriate fiber optic cables to the transmit and receive ports
on the 15G MRO XC circuit pack. For details, refer to Figure 5-19.
