Verifying the serial numbers of the 6200 chassis and

the circuit packs

Use this procedure to verify the serial numbers of the 6200 chassis and the

circuit packs present in the 6200 network element. The 6200 chassis has

10 slots for the different modules.

The modules supported by the 6200 chassis are:

• Two 250W DC PSUs

• Two 325W DC PSUs

• Two 500W DC PSUs

• Two 290W AC PSUs

• FAN+OAM

• Fan+OAMV2

• Expansion FAN

•2.5G MRO

•15G MRO XC

•60G MRO XC

• 6G PKT SW

• 64G PKT SW

•4xGE + 4xFE

•63xE1DS1

• 63xE1DS1 WP

• IO63xE1DS1

•6xE3DS3

• 12xE3DS3 WP

• IO12xE3DS3

All the modules in the 6200 chassis are field replaceable.

Prerequisites

• Log into the network element WUI.

• Make sure that you have the shipment report which contains the circuit

packs serial numbers.
