You can enable PortFast mode on individual interfaces using the spanning-tree portfast (interface)
command.
Examples This example shows how to enable PortFast by default on all access ports in releases earlier than
Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SXI:
Router(config)# spanning-tree portfast default
Router(config)#
This example shows how to enable PortFast edge mode with BPDU Guard by default on all access ports
in Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SXI and later releases:
Router(config)# spanning-tree portfast edge bpduguard default
