Selecting options allows the user to configure the serial port used to communicate
between the unit to be configure and the PC

The desired coim port should be selected from the drop down list of ports. If the
desired port cannot be found, navigate to the windows ‘device manager’ and identify
which port is controlling the RS232.
9.4.1.1.6 File Description:
The user may type a description of the file into the file description box:
An example file description could be: XXX (operator), YYY (aircraft type/tail number),
MM/DD/YYYY (date).
9.5 TOP LEVEL CONFIGURATION SCREENS
When a part number is selected, a top level screen with configurable parameters for
that part number is displayd. Three available screens are PMR, RMR, and RCDU.
These commodities, technology or software are controlled in accordance with the United States Export Administration Regulations, Export Classification
Control Number (ECCN) EAR99. When exporting, diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
