9.5.1 COMMON COFIGURATION PARAMETERS FOR THE PMR AND RMR
Many configuration parametes are the same for the PMR and the RMR. These
common elements are described in this secion.
9.5.1.1 Microphone Mode Configuration
Microphone Mode Headset Impedance
When the “MIC_MODE_N” discrete input is grounded, pin 76 on the 78 pin connector,
the channel 1 audio output of the RT-7000 PMR is configured to directly drive a
headset. The Microphone Mode Headset Impedance button in the configuration screen
shows the currently configured headset impedance. Selecting this button causes a
menu of headset impedance choices to drop down. Selecting an impedance from this
menu configures the RT-7000 PMR microphone mode audio output.
Choices are 8 ohms, 150 ohms, or 600 ohms. As seen in the image above, the
150Ohm option is selected.
