3.3 Assembling the Air-Puff Stimulus
The Air-Puff Stimulus should contain the following:
1 x 20’ (6m) 1/4" diameter air supply line with quick-connect fittings.
1 x Air Reservoir (5 gallon/19 liter) typical.
1 x 8’ (2.4m) 1/2" diameter air supply line.
1 x 12-volt power supply with AC power cord.
4 x Spare O-Rings for the 1/2" air supply line.
You may also need the following tools/supplies:
Teflon tape or Teflon pipe sealant.
1-1/4” (29mm) Open-End Wrench.
9/16” (15mm) Open-End Wrench.
Adjustable Crescent Wrench.
Warning! Do not try to remove the hardware from the ends of the 1/2" air supply line
(plastic nut, metal retaining ring, plastic ferrule and o-ring) as possible damage may result.
Before making a connection using the 1/2" air-supply line, be sure an o-ring is present over the
end. If not, replace with a spare o-ring.
Place the protective caps over the open ports of air-fittings when not in use.
