2.4 Type and rating plates
The SAM type plate and meter rating plate are listed below. Typically, the SAM type plate is visible from the
outside (view of the charging station) and the meter rating plate is not.

- Lower field:
• Metrology marking incl.
• production year
• Notified body
• CE marking
• Type designation SAM incl. serial number/type key (can be used for HW
identification)
• QR code (contains the type designation and serial number)
• Accuracy classification
