1.1 Overview

Comtech EF Data’s DT-4500 Series C- and Ku-Band Down Converters (Figure 1-1)
are designed for the transmission of SCPC, DAMA and TDMA signals in
communication systems or satellite downlink data systems. These converters are
also used in communications system applications with full transponder HDTV and
analog TV.
The DT-4500 Series Down Converter family of products comprises:

• Ku-Band Units:
