The plug for an RJ-45 or RJ-48 cable features a flexible tab. The RJ-45 or RJ-48
receptacle features a mating slot. This design configuration ensures a secure
installation.
Connection Instructions
As shown in Figure 4-3 – Press down the tab on the cable plug and then insert
the plug into the receptacle. The connection is complete when the tab ‘clicks’
into position inside the receptacle.
