Configure the general setting parameters. For details, see Table 4-2. Step 2
Table 4-2 General settings description
Configure the current system time.
Select a date format for the system.
Select a separator for the data format.
In the Time Format list, select 12-HOUR or 24-HOUR.
The DST is applied in some countries or regions. Select the DST check box if
it is applied where the Device is located.
1. Select the DST check box.
2. Click Setup.
The DST interface is displayed.
3. According to the local regulations, configure the type, begin time and end
time for the DST.
4. Click Save.
You can configure how to calibrate the system time.
1. Click Timing Mode.
The Timing Mode interface is displayed.
2. Select a timing mode.
DSS: The system time syncs with DSS platform.
GPS: Configure the time zone. The system time syncs with satellite.
NTP: Click NTP, the NTP interface is displayed. Configure the
server IP, port, time zone, and interval, and then click OK. The
system time syncs with NTP server. Click Manual Update, the
Device starts syncing time with the NTP server immediately.
3. Click Save.
