Overview
The laser marker is provided with an USB recovery disk (see “USB Recovery Disk”
on page 4) able to restore it to the factory settings.
The USB recovery disk should be used if the
Operating System is corrupted
or
disks are corrupted
.
How to recover the laser marker
The recovery procedure requires the USB recovery disk which is included in the
standard equipment.

All existing data in the laser marker will be overwritten.
All existing data will be lost If
possible, make a backup copy of all the customer's data before recovering the system.
Recover the system:
Turn OFF the laser marker
Insert the USB recovery disk provided wit
h the laser marker in the USB port
Turn ON the laser marker and press the ESC key
to enter the BIOS menu
Go to BOOT menu, select Hard Drive
BBS Priorities and press the ENTER key
Select Boot Option
#1 and press the ENTER key
Select the USB disk
from the list and press the ENTER key
•Press the F4 key
Select YES and
press ENTER
The laser marker will restart and Clonezilla live will boot from the USB disk
