Replace the left midplane
Installing the left midplane
Prerequisites
NOTE: You must route the cables properly on the chassis to prevent them from being pinched or crimped.
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove all the sleds from the enclosure.
4. Disconnect all the cables, except the power cables.
Steps
1. Using the Phillips 2 screwdriver, connect and secure the left power cables to the midplane.

2. Route the power cable through the cable clip on the chassis, and slide the midplane to the chassis by hooking the left
bracket.
3. Using the Phillips 1 screwdriver, install the screws securing the midplane to the chassis.
4. Using the Phillips 2 screwdriver, secure the left power cables to the chassis management board.
