Connecting the Lead Wires for Neonatal Monitoring
1 Insert the ECG adaptor cable (B) into the
recessed channel (A) on the side of the M540.
Orient the ECG adaptor cable so the exposed
pins face towards you as you push it firmly into
the channel.
2 Insert the spacer (C) to protect the unused
ECG-lead pins on the M540.
3 Connect the individual neonatal ECG lead wires
(E) to the neonatal ECG adaptor cable (D).

page 140.
