Privacy Mode
The privacy mode is only possible when the patient
is admitted at the Infinity CentralStation (ICS). In
the privacy mode, the patient monitoring continues
but the patient data are removed from Cockpit and
M540 and only appear on the ICS.
Selecting the privacy mode on the Cockpit
automatically activates the privacy mode on the
M540 and vice versa. Likewise, taking a patient out
of the privacy mode on one device does the same
at the other device. The privacy mode is cancelled
automatically when the connection to the Infinity
network is disrupted.
Activating the privacy mode has the following
effect:
– All patient data is removed from the Cockpit
display and the M540, but continues to be
displayed at the ICS
– The alarm bar is disabled
– Audible alarm signals are only provided at the
ICS
– The banner Privacy, touch screen to return is
displayed in the centre of the Cockpit screen
To place the Cockpit in the privacy mode
1 Select the symbol next to the
Start/Standby... button on the main-menu bar
2 Select Privacy on the toolbar
or
1 Select the Start/Standby... button on the main-
menu bar
2 Select the Start tab if it is not already selected
3 Select Privacy next to the menu selection
Display
The banner Privacy, touch screen to return is
displayed in the centre of the Cockpit screen
To take the Cockpit out of the privacy mode
z Touch the screen to ractivate the display of the
patient data.
