CAUTION
Always refer to the primary data source before
making diagnostic or therapeutic decisions.
Because the peripheral device can display data
from a wide variety of sources, including external
devices, and because validity and plausibility
checks of external devices cannot be performed,
Dräger Medical does not guarantee the accuracy
or integrity of data originating from these sources.
Connecting peripheral devices is supported via
the device connectivity option. Only connect
peripheral medical devices to a patient monitor if
those devices comply with the electrical safety
requirements found in IEC 60601-1. Refer to the
Electrical Safety section of these Instructions for
Use for information on how to connect devices
safely.
WARNING
The following table lists all of the external
devices and related software versions that
Dräger Medical has validated. Dräger Medical
cannot make any claim for the reliability of the
data for subsequent or previous software
versions or for any devices that have not been
validated. In the interest of patient safety and
device performance, do not connect devices
to the monitor which have not been approved
by Dräger Medical. The hospital is responsible
for contacting Dräger Medical to determine
the compatibility and guarantee status of any
connection made to another manufacturer’s
medical devices.
