2.4.9 Aligning the needle bar linkage to the throat plate
Caution: Danger of injury !
Switch off the main switch.
Check and adjust the alignment of the needle bar linkage only with the
sewing unit switched off.
Standard checking
The needles should penetrate in the c enter of the holes of throat
plate 3.
–
Insert new needles.

Slowly move the needle bars down by handwheel.
–
Check the position of the needles in the needle hole.
Correction
–
Loosen the screws 2.
–
Shift the needle bar linkage laterally in such a way that the needles
are in the center of the needle holes.
–
Tighten the screws 2.
