11 Adjusting the sewing foot feed
11.1 Adjusting the zero stroke of the feet, tension force of the
torsion spring
In order to adjust the sewing foot stroke mechanism ( page 61) the zero
stroke of the sewing feet must be precisely adjusted, with the upper ma-
chine cover removed. This is the case when the connecting rods (1) are in
a line.
Correct setting
When the connecting rods (1) are in a line.
The ball-ended pin (7) is touching the stop screw (9).
The torsion spring is twisted 15° to 20°.

position of the sewing foot feed on the machine.
