16.1 Cleaning the filter element

Cleaning steps
1. Drain the condensed water (
see Operating instructions).
2. Unscrew the water separator (2).
3. Unscrew the filter element (1).
4. Clean the filter element (1).
5. Clean the filter tray.
6. Screw in the filter element (1).
7. Screw in the water separator (2).
8. Screw in the drain screw (3).
WARNING
Risk of injury
Before cleaning the filter element, switch the machine off at
the main switch and disconnect it from the compressed air
supply.

ATTENTION
Damage to the filter due to solvent-based cleaning agents
Solvent-based cleaning agents will damage the filter.
Use only solvent-free materials for washing out the filter tray.
