6 Setting the drive
6.1 Setting the drive ratio
The machine is equipped with a 2-step pulley which can be used to adjust
the drive ratio between drive motor and machine and to increase the pen-
etration force of the needle.
To change the ratio, the drive belt must be removed and the pulley
chan
ged to the opposite position. The drive belt is then refitted and
tensioned.

Setting steps
1. Loosen the screws (4) of the belt tensioner (3).
2
. Rotate tensioning roller (2) and belt tensioner (3).
3. Take off the ridged drive belt (1).
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Crushing injuries from moving parts.
Switch off the machine before checking and setting
th
e drive transmission ratio.
