Note that a low tightening torque when turning the eccentric pin (1) can
lead to a high tension of the toothed belt.
4. Check the belt tension and adjust it if necessary.
10.2 Adjusting the dead center of the reciprocating movement
of the drive
Proper setting
At 155°, the driver is at its dead center (movement
in counterclockwise di-
rection).

• Upper right cover ( p. 12).
• Tilt the machine head ( p. 10).

Setting steps
1. Loosen the screws (2).
2. Turn the eccentric (1).
3. Tighten the screws (2).
4. Check if the dead center (3) is at 155°; adjust it again if necessary.
