12 Adjusting the foot stroke
12.1 Adjusting the foot stroke generated by the hand lever
The hand lever (1) allows the feet to be raised to the height of 14 and 20 mm.
The extent of the two strokes is determined by the dimensions of the elements
of the lift mechanism.
Proper setting
The presser foot rests on the throat plate, and the hand lever (1) is at the
inactive positio
n:
Th
e lift lever (3) has a guaranteed clearance of 0.3 to 0.5 mm to the
drive dog (4).

Setting steps
1. Put the handwheel into the 0° position ( p. 20).
The presser foot rests
on the throat plate.
2. Loosen the screw (2) and leave the hex key (5) inserted.

Switch the machine off before checking and
