10.4 Setting the hook clearance
Proper setting
Lock the machine in place at position 1.
Set
the clearance between hook tip and groove to no more than
0.1 mm.
When the hook tip moves passed the needle, hook tip and needle must
not touch each other.

Setting steps
1. Lock the machine in place at position 1.
2. Loosen the screws in the openings (4).
3. Move the hook cage (1) such that the distance of the hook tip (3) from
the needle (2) is max. 0.1 mm.
