The clamping arm must then be in the appropriate
position so that the pin on the side of the connecting
half from the packing plates is correctly positioned on
the left-hand side of the clamping arm. Then tighten
the clamping arm until it locks in the closed position.

Close the engine hood.
Lower the plates as far as possible. Deactivate
“Service mode” in the “Machine settings” menu in the
roller’s operator display.
Switch off the engine and ensure that the parking
brake is engaged.

Now extend the set screws on the lifting arms until the
screw heads rest against the back of the vertical
plates on the offset adjustment device.
Then tighten the lock nuts. Maximum torque: approx.
10 Nm.

Connect the offset sensor connector.
The compaction plates are then ready for use.
