10.16 easy communication modules
10.16.2.1 EASY-COM-RTU-… easy communication module
The external power supply (24 VDC) is connected to one of the two POW terminals on
the EASY-COM-RTU-… and is protected against reverse polarity.
The Modbus RTU network is connected to the COM, B+, A- RS-485 terminals on the
EASY-COM-RTU-… module.
The module has on-board bus polarization (termination)) and a bus terminator (pre-
load on the bus) and can be activated separately using easySoft 8.
The following can be configured:
l
The baud rate – 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200
l
The stop bits – 1 or 2
and
l
The parity bit – none, even, or odd

