SIM protocol can be tested over Ethernet using HyperTerminal.
1. Start HyperTerminal.
2. Enter the IP address of the pump in the Host address field. In the Port number field enter the SIM port to be
used, either 47591 or 47592. In the Connect using field, select TCP/IP (Winsock) as shown.

3. Set the ASCII settings to the following from the File/Properties/Settings menu

4. In the HyperTerminal window type the following: ‘?T’ and press the ENTER key. If successful the user should get
a reply with the following format:
