NOTICE
Contamination reduces the effectiveness of the UV lamp.
¡ Do not touch the glass of the new lamp. In particular, protect the radiation emission
point made of quartz glass.
¡ If the glass is touched, wipe it with a lint-free cloth and pure alcohol.
The following states indicate a defective UV lamp:
¡ The run-in period of the detection module takes is not complete after 30min. The
LED on the front flashes continuously.
¡ The measurement sensitivity is too low or the detection limit can no longer be
reached.
¡ Check the state of the UV lamp in the
System
|
Component test
menu in the detec-
tion module tab. If a defect is indicated or the lamp is worn out, replace the lamp.
} Switch off the detection module via the power switch.
} Remove the left side panel. Remove the 4 screws to do this. Remove the
protective grounding cable and remove the side panel.
ü The UV lamp is located to the left in the module (see arrow).
} Unscrew both fastening screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
} Pull the connection plug on top out of the socket.
} Carefully remove the lamp from its holder.
} Insert a new lamp in the holder.
NOTICE!Only touch the new lamp by its base or its cable. Do not touch
the glass. Do not scratch the lamp.
