Status area
The following appears in the status area of the navigation view in the top right corner:
• Of the submenu
– The direct access code for the parameter you are navigating to (e.g. 0022-1)
– If a diagnostic event is present, the diagnostic behavior and status signal
• In the wizard
If a diagnostic event is present, the diagnostic behavior and status signal
• For information on the diagnostic behavior and status signal (→ 102)
• For information on the function and entry of the direct access code (→ 56)

Locking
Symbol Meaning
Parameter locked
When displayed in front of a parameter name, indicates that the parameter is locked.
• By a user-specific access code (→ 91)
• By the hardware write protection switch (→ 92)
Wizard operation
Symbol Meaning
Switches to the previous parameter.
Confirms the parameter value and switches to the next parameter.
Opens the editing view of the parameter.
