2. Enter the necessary information in Current password, User Name, New Password, and Conrm New
Password.
e new password must be 8 to 20 characters long and only contain single-byte alphanumeric characters and
symbols.
Note:
e following provides the default values for the administrator information.
User name: none (blank)
Password: Depends on the label attached to product.
If there is a "PASSWORD" label attached to the back, enter the 8-digit number shown on the label. If there is no
"PASSWORD" label attached, enter the serial number on the label attached to the base of the product for the initial
administrator password.
3. Select OK.

Locking the Buttons on the Control Panel (Panel Lock)
You can lock the Wi-Fi connect button ( ) and the Wi-Fi
on/o
button ( ) on so that network settings cannot
be changed from the control panel.
You can set from the Device Management tab > Control Panel > Panel Lock in Web Cong.

Logging on to the Scanner from a Computer
When you log in to Web Cong as an administrator, you can operate items that are set in the Lock Setting.
1. Enter the scanner's IP address into a browser to run Web Cong.
2. Click Administrator Login.
3. Enter the user name and administrator password in User Name and Current password.
4. Click OK.
