(e) The adjustability means a possibility to regulate the length of pull-rod within the
specified range (Fig. 27-1).
(f) When adjusting the lengths of pull-rods, the adjustable end piece must never be
unscrewed below the level of the check hole in the pull-rod. The checking needle
or mandrel, with a diameter capable of passing through the check hole, must
always hit the threaded part of end piece (Fig. 27-2).
