(6) Installation – brake pump
CAUTION
BEFORE THE INSTALLATION OF THE ASSEMBLED BRAKE
PUMPS ON THE AIRPLANE, DO THE FUNCTION CHECK.
NOTE
The installation procedure is the same for all pumps.
(a) Position the brake pumps (1; 2; 3, Obr. 32-16) into the forks (10) on the
intermediate shaft of the foot control.
(b) Insert the pins (4) into the corresponding holes. Put the washers (6) on the pins
(10) and secure them by the new cotter pins (6).
(c) Insert the pins (7) into the joints of the forks of the brake pumps with pedals (11)
and secure them by safety locks.
(d) Connect the hoses (9) of the brake fluid line and tighten the nuts (8).
(e) Replenish brake fluid, bleed the brake circuit (Section 12-10) and do the function
check and the leakage test.
