(1) Removal – brake
(a) Lift the airplane (Section 07-10).
(b) Remove the main wheels (Section 32-41); remove the brake disk.
(c) Disconnect the hose from the brake (1, Fig. 32-18). Close the hose by the blind
plug.
(d) Unscrew and remove the nuts (3) and washers (4).
(e) Push out the bolts (2), remove the brake (1); wheel axis (5) and fairing holder (6).
(2) Installation – brake
(a) Before installation clean all parts thoroughly and check for damage, wear and
corrosion.
(b) Position the fairing holder (6, Fig. 32-18), the wheel axis (5), the brake (1) on the
leg (7) and insert the bolts (2) to the holes.
(c) Apply adhesive to bolt threads (2), insert the washers (4) and screw nuts (3);
tighten the nuts with torque 10 Nm.
(d) Insert the brake disk into the brake calliper (1) and install the main landing gear
wheels (Section 32-41).
(e) Connect the hose to the brake (1).
