CAUTION
DO NOT TOUCH THE FLASHTUBE WITH BARE FINGERS.
WHEN YOU HANDLE THE FLASHTUBE, WEAR SOFT
GLOVES OR USE A CLEAN CLOTH. MOISTURE AND
GREASE FROM YOUR FINGERS MAY CAUSE
MALFUNCTION OF THE FLASHTUBE.
(e) Remove the flashtube (3) and the seal (10).
(2) Installation – flashtube of the strobe light
CAUTION
DO NOT TOUCH THE FLASHTUBE WITH BARE FINGERS.
WHEN YOU HANDLE THE FLASHTUBE, WEAR SOFT
GLOVES OR USE A CLEAN CLOTH. MOISTURE AND
GREASE FROM YOUR FINGERS MAY CAUSE
MALFUNCTION OF THE FLASHTUBE.
(a) Put a functional flashtube (3, Fig. 33-5) with seal (10) into the light body (1).
(b) Put the flashtube cover (2) including the lens (4) on the light body, attach and
tighten the screws (9).
(c) Connect the connector with wires (13) to the harness.
(d) Install the cover W4L or W4R (Fig. 06-2).
(e) Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on and check function of the
strobe light.
(3) Removal – position / strobe light
WARNING
THE STROBE LIGHTS ARE HIGH-VOLTAGE DEVICE. DO
NOT REMOVE OR TOUCH THE FLASHTUBE DURING
OPERATION. AFTER YOU SWITCH THE SYSTEM OFF,
WAIT 5 MINUTES, BEFORE YOU START THE WORK.
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the cover W4L or W4R (Fig. 06-2).
(c) Disconnect the connector with wires (13, Fig. 33-5) from the harness.
(d) Unscrew the screws (9) and remove the flashtube cover (2) including the lens (4).
