(b) Install the strut between the engine mount and the airbox (Section 71-60).
(c) Suspend the engine with the engine mount on the workshop crane (Fig. 71–1).
(d) Install the silentblocks:
1 Insert both parts of the silentblock (4) into the eye of the upper attachment
(detail A, Fig. 71–1) and install the insert (5).
2 Slide the washers (2) and (7) on the bolt (1) and insert it into the hole in the
insert (5).
3 Slide the cup (3) and the washer (6) on the protruding shank of the bolt (1).
4 Insert both parts of the silent block (4) into the eye of the lower attachment
(detail B, Fig. 71–1) and install the insert (5).
5 Slide the washer (2) and the cup (3) on the bolt (1) and insert it into the hole
in the insert (5).
6 Slide the cup (3) and the washer (6) on the protruding shank of the bolt (1).
(e) Position the engine with the installed engine mount to the attachment points on the
firewall.
(f) Install the engine on the airplane:
1 Install the bolts (1) for suspending the engine mount (11) to the attachments
on the firewall (Section 71-20).
2 Tighten the bolts using a torque of 23 Nm.
3 Secure the bolts by means of lockwire (Section 20-20).
(g) As need, gradually remove the blind plugs.
(h) Install the engine control (Section 76-10).
(i) Install the liquid cooler (Section 75-00).
(j) Connect he hoses of the engine cooling system (Section 75-00).
(k) Connect the fuel inlet hoses (Section 28-20).
(l) Install the exhaust system (Section 78-20).
(m) Connect the wires of engine electrical installation.
(n) Install the propeller (Section 61-10).
(o) As needed, but at the latest before the engine start, replenish the operation liquids
of the engine (Section 12-10).
(p) Mount the lower cowling of the engine (Section 71-10).
(q) Using the screws (3, Fig. 71–2) with the washers (5), attach the liquid cooler to the
lower cowling of the engine (2).
(r) Connect the hoses to the airbox (Section 71-60).
(s) Connect the flap control of the airbox (Section 71-60).
(t) Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on.
(u) Do the engine test; check the tightness of the fuel system, oil system and the
engine cooling system.
(v) Install the upper cowling of the engine (Section 71-10).
